About me

Finance, Research & the Power of Clear Numbers

I'm Debabrata Dhar Apu, a Finance and Banking graduate from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh, where I ranked in the top 5 of my cohort and earned a CGPA of 3.70/4.00 alongside four consecutive University Merit Scholarships.

Since 2021, I've been a Bangladesh Government-registered cloud accounting freelancer, delivering remote bookkeeping and financial reporting to international clients through Xero and QuickBooks Online. My academic background in quantitative research, using STATA, EViews, Python, and advanced panel econometrics, gives my financial work a rigour that goes well beyond standard bookkeeping.

I am currently preparing two working papers targeting Q1 journals in macroeconomics and corporate finance, and am actively pursuing opportunities for a Master's or PhD programme in Finance, Economics, or Business Analytics. I believe precision in numbers and precision in words are two sides of the same discipline.
